Vinyl Condition
Excellent - Visually this record is in Excellent condition and has maintained its full sheen. There are no noticeable sleeve marks or scratches, even under close inspection. There are some very light spindle marks but no other signs of damage to the label. The audio quality on both sides is excellent with no major sound deterioration. This record looks and sounds unplayed.
Sleeve Condition
Very Good+ – This card type sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There are very light signs of wear and tear, mostly around the edges but no noticeable signs of damage. There is light creasing and ringwear but no visible signs of discolouration or marks. The spine and edges are fully intact. The record is housed in the original inner sleeve.
Record Information
Holy Diver is the debut album by American heavy metal band Dio, released in 1983. Vocalist Ronnie James Dio had just finished his first tenure in Black Sabbath, whose drummer Vinny Appice he took with him to put together his own band. The roster was completed by his former band mate in Rainbow Jimmy Bain on bass and by the young guitarist Vivian Campbell, coming from the NWOBHM band Sweet Savage. The album was acclaimed by the music press and is the most successful of the band.
