FULLY PLAY GRADED VINYL - FROM START TO FINISH
PLAYGRADED: not simply glanced at with a superficial visual grading, fully played and graded throughout (listened to on headphones - the most revealing playgrade method, with no exterior audio distractions)
VINYL:
6 3 6 0 0 4 8 1 Y // 1 1 1 3
6 3 6 0 0 4 8 1 Y // 1 1 1 2
Good looking vinyl with a few light surface marks and superficial surface scratches. Plays through with NO jumps or sticks, has light background crackle/hiss throughout - not sure if it's deeply embedded 'dust/dirt' that may improve with a professional thorough clean...? Has a few very faint background clicks at the start of side 1 that soon disappear, the background crackle is audible throughout but mostly covered by the louder music. Side 2 doesn't play quite as well and has several bursts of hiss at random parts throughout the first track and just into the second track. It comes and goes and is very odd, again less prominent in the louder sections. There are also repetitive clicks for the first minute of the second side. Overall I would grade the audio as VG to VG+ on side one and then G for 1st track of side 2 improving to VG+ for the remainder of the second side. Not the mint 'holy grail' copy you'd die for but still one of the rarest pieces of vinyl on the planet! A very worthy collection filler until you maybe, maybe get that mint one eventually...!
Plays right through with no jumps or sticks.
OUTER SLEEVE:
Original diecut gatefold sleeve in very good condition, has been repaired on the right hand side of the gatefold (you can see the sellotape repair on the images), overall looks ok, has had some touch ups on the spine and some edges.
SPINE:
Still just legible on the 'VERTIGO' and catalogue number sections of the spine, looks ok though with some touch ups visible.
LABELS:
Superb, NO graffiti and only a few spindle traces visible
INNER SLEEVE:
Swirl replica inner sleeve
POSTAGE AND PACKING:
I recycle as much existing material as possible and reuse record mailers if they are of good enough quality. Edges and corners are reinforced with packing tape. Stiffeners are used to strengthen and support the record.
Vinyl is removed from the outer gatefold to prevent any 'knifing' to the outer sleeve.
