Description

DYS "BROTHERHOOD" Lp -
ORIGINAL record ORIGINAL pressing from 1983

Comes with original lyric sheet!! NOT a copy.

This was the fourth release from Boston based XClaim! Records, XClaim! was at one time the leader of Boston hardcore, releasing DYS "Brotherhood" Lp, SSD "Get It Away" Lp (Another one I'll have up for bid soon!), SSD "The Kids Will Have Their Say" Lp (check my auctions for this too, it'll be up here soon) and The F.U.'s "Kill For Christ" Lp (which I'm keeping!).

DYS was singer Dave Smalley's band - Dave Smalley went on to sing for Dag Nasty and ALL. DYS was, next to SSD, the premiere straight edge hardcore band. Here is the song list:
SIDE ONE:
1.Open Up
2. More Than Fashion
3. Circle Storm
4. City To City
5. (The Girl's Got) Limits
SIDE TWO:
1. Brotherhood
2. Yellow
3. Stand Proud
4. Insurance Risk
5. Escape

Here's the grading for this record:

SLEEVE: VG (very good) to EX (excellent), there is some slight wear on the corners, but the record is over 20 years old, so considering it's age, it's in great shape. The cover artwork, by the way, was done by Dickey Barrett who went on to form the Mighty Mighty Bosstones!!

VINYL: EX (excellent) - the record is in great shape. I have never played this record in the ten years that I've owned it. There is dust on the Lp but, for fear of scratching it, I've never cleaned it. That'll be up to you, the winning bidder!

INSERT: The lyric sheet is in great condition - no rips or thumbtack holes. There is a slight bend on one corner, but it is slight. It has been handled in the past 20 years, but it not messed up at all. It is double sided, with a photo on one side and lyrics on the other.

If you have ANY questions pertaining to the record please email me.

There is a RESERVE on this LP, but just to let you know it is below the value (We gotta make this fun, don't we?).

The winner of this auction will pay for Priority Mail shipping - it will be WELL PACKAGED, I won't just be throwing it in a box! Shipping will be $6.50. Insurance is not mandatory, but I cannot be held responsible for any damage, theft or loss caused by the US Postal Service, so it is recommended. Insurance will be $3.20.

Thanks for looking at my auction! Good luck!!
