Description
In my continuing quest to bring you fine vinyl, I'm happy to offer the record(s) listed above. (and of course, as usual, please check out my other listings to find things that you may need).
This is a bit of an odd one. The record is well-known as being DAC's debut album upon his release from prison. Counter-culture-country!
However, here's where things get different. The song titles are quoted (and named "scare quotes"); the reason as to why eludes me. "Stereo" is above the catalog number (SSS #9). The fonts are thinner, taller than the regular versions of this record. Definitely a US first press, though. Die-cut front cover, gatefold release.
Overall, an absolutely lovely copy that will be one of the crown jewels in your collection!
Side A: A few scuffs; DNAP. Will require a careful cleaning. Tons of gloss and shine; practically looks unplayed. EX--/VG++
Side B: Ditto. EX- on this side.
Ephemera/various: Gatefold glue is coming apart; roughly 1" for now. Cover has one spot on it, per photos, and a slight bend-wrinkle near lower-right corner (see pics for details). Strong VG++. Light musty smell due to proximity storage to lightly mildewed records. NO mildew/mold/water damage on this cover, however. Best of all? NO HOLE PUNCH IN COVER (difficult to obtain for this LP in particular).
As with all records, a careful dusting/cleaning may be required for optimum playback.
THREE DAY ONLY SALE.
I'm slashing prices and making these listings Buy it Now only, as I'm in a hurry to get $$$ in my account (after waiting, of course, on eBay's 'new and improved' managed payments).
Please see and examine pictures, as they are part of the listing. If you would like additional pics, just let me know!
NOTE: Due to the pandemic, there are mail delays all over the world. Please allow for some extra time for shipments to arrive.
It is preferable that payment be made ASAP, however, due to various circumstances, I'm allowing up to three days for payment to be made. Anything after that, and an unpaid item case automatically opens. If you don't plan on paying, then don't bid.
Shipping:
I'm happy to combine shipping for orders!
No matter how many 45's/LP's you purchase (in the lower 48), the shipping cost will never go over the current Media Mail rate (currently $3.11). LP's will be slightly higher due to weight.
NOTE: USPS seems to have raised its rates again; currently reflected here. Rates are directly from USPS.com. I make zero profit on shipping, the way it should be.
Canada - $12.25 for 8oz and under; $20.75 for any weight over 8oz.
EU - $14.50 for 8oz and under; $24.50 for any weight over 8oz.
Rest of the world - $17.25 for 8oz and under; $27.75 for any weight over 8oz.
1-2 45 rpm singles weighs under 8oz. 3 or more is over.
1 LP record is already over 8oz (it's actually closer to 14oz). The price break for multiple LP's is at 32oz, i.e., 2LP's.
I am willing to work with any of my overseas customers on this. Most of this would be depending upon circumstance, order status, availability and most importantly, weight.
I refuse to lose a sale over an amount as small as ~$5 or thereabouts merely due to shipping costs. We'll talk it through and hash it out.
I ship all of my (soon to be your) items as such:
1. Paper sleeve (will match company of the record if available), poly outer sleeve. 2. Cardboard stiffeners for added package strength (in case of shipping delays for supplies, I will use 2 records for intra-US shipments). 3. A stiffener is placed under the record, then the next one is turned at 90° with the record in between. 4. Specialized mailing boxes are exclusively used for mailing 45rpm records (or LP's).
NOTE: Despite what eBay puts in my shipping profile, I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world, with no exclusions whatsoever.
If you are getting more than one record from me, please wait until I send you an invoice.
VAT/GST/customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the cost of this item.
Any questions? Please feel free to contact me. I've an open-door policy! :) I WILL happily process returns if the item arrives damaged, or is significantly different than advertised. I will NOT process refunds due to buyer's remorse, I'm sorry to say.
PayPal ONLY. See my feedback and bid with confidence!
