Description

A 1st press of Aladdin Sane on the RCA label from 19763. Matrix 3T/3T. The label is consistent with a 1973 1st issue - 'Stereo' being mentioned at the top of the label and this was soon discontinued. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a non-gatefold cover printed by Shorewood Packaging. Also included is the original lyric inner sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of static in one or two track. Nothing major and in reality pretty insignificant. A lovely player that does the Bowie classic proper justice.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. There's some light hadnling wear, but nothing significant. No serious creases or foxing. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a very fine example.
Lyric sheet (Ex) A bit of light creasing, but nothing worse.
