Description

An original 1st press of Aladdin Sane on the UK RCA label from 1973. Matrix 3T/3T - very 1st cut. The labels are perfectly consistent with very 1st press... shiny & orange with 'Stereo' mentioned at 1 o'clock. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue gatefold sleeve. Also included is the lyric card inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A truly wonderful rendition and I don't ever recall a better performer. Just lovely clean audio allowing you hear deep into the mix. Interference is pretty much totally non-existent. All I could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) A difficult cover to find in top-level condition due to the mostly white background and non-lamination. But this example acquits itself admirably with very nice bold colours on the front and only lightest handling. Please not back and front do exhibit a touch of low-level foxing in one or two spots [only really vaguely noticeable on the rear. The interior looks great - no issues at all. Edge wear is light for this title and the spine looks fine with the text still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex/Ex+) No issues at all.
