Description

Classic UK 1971 first press of this groundbreaking LP! Matrix numbers on the runout grooves are APRS 5947 3T 'BOBIL' and APRS 5948 3T 'RASPUTIN'. Record has beautiful, unmarked and shiny RCA orange labels. The label credits do not mention MainMan (identifying it as a very early pressing). Titanic/Chrysalis are the publishers and the record is a 'Gem' production. Vinyl is a very sturdy EX with no scratches or serious marks. There are a few very light surface scuffs consistent with the record being taken in and out of its inner sleeve and being played a fair number of times, but nothing major at all. Both sides play through beautifully with no adverse defects to be heard. The lyric insert is dated 1971 and like the labels, credits 'A Gem Production'. It is in EX+ condition with no marks, creases or tears whatsover.  The cover is a very sturdy EX+ condition with no marks and only very minor creases at the spine edge. There is one small scuff on the spine (see scan) which is hardly noticeable. Again, there is no MainMan logo on the back cover - just the Gem Production logo at the top right corner. Overall, this is a quite beautiful copy of a legendary and historical record which will look great in your collection!
