Up for auction is a Very Rare 45  record featuring David Bowie with the Lower Third on the promo Warner Bros. Record label, #5815. This is his first record with his name change.  David changed his name to avoid confusion with the "Monkee's" Davy Jones, as his name was David Robert Jones.  He picked "Bowie" after the Alamo hero, Jim Bowie. We ship world-wide and offer two types of shipping in U.S., 1st class for economy and Priority for safety and speed.  Insurance is optional, however it is suggested.

SIDE 1---"CAN'T HELP THINKING ABOUT ME"--- Vinyl is VG with some scuffing, plays well.  Label is Ex with very minor wear! (see scans)

Side 2---"AND I SAY TO MYSELF"---Vinyl is VG+ with minor scuffing, plays well. Label is Ex+ with very minor wear.  (See Scans)

This is our record Grading System

MT- : New Condition- Hardly played, if ever.  Gloss Vinyl with unmarked  Label.

NR-Mt : Near perfect  label, any scratches on vinyl will be light and does not affect play.

Ex : Light  wear on label, minor surface marks/scratches on vinyl, plays well.

VG : Used record and may retain gloss, surface scratches and scuffs are present,  minor to moderate wear on label, plays ok unless otherwise noted.

G: Well played with abundant scratches and scuffs, label may have tears and other wear, plays with background noise, pops, etc.

P : Mishandled and abused, label damage, probable severe scratches and scuffs.
