Description

David Bowie - "The Man Who Sold The World" originally released in 1971 in the United Kingdom. This is the re-release issued in 1972 after the initial dress sleeve version was withdrawn.


Issued with glossy orange non-paper labels, with a printed inner sleeve, 4-panel one-sided poster and sticker which makes this a little rarer.


With Titanic Music/Chrysalis credits on both labels.


Some copies had a b&w removable sticker on the front: "David Bowie poster enclosed" as does this copy.


Catalogue # LSP-4816 on back cover, spine, inner sleeve and poster.

There are no track durations printed on this release.


It includes the original cover, an original inner sleeve, a poster, and a sticker.


The record grading is Very Good (VG), plays with a little crackle and odd click here and there. No jumps at all. After the last track finishes on side 2 it sticks in the run out, I’ve mentioned it but it’s incidental to the grading really. The sleeve grading is Excellent (EX). The poster is excellent, never hung!
