Description

The album comes from Trident Studios 1/4" stereo tapes dated December 15, 1971. These tapes held the early, provisional track listing for what later became The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
It features 11 tracks, including four songs that did not make the final 1972 release, such as a cover of Chuck Berry's "Round and Round" and the fan-favorite outtake "Velvet Goldmine"
The track listing for WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STAR-MAN CAME TO EARTH) runs differently from the ZIGGY STARDUST album and features four songs that didn’t make the final album
Release Date: 4/20/2024
Format: LP
Quantity: 8000
Release type: RSD Exclusive Release

This album is in Mint condition and the shrink wrap has retained its tension. This album is a very much sought after piece as only 8000 copies have been released for the Record Store Day 2024. Thank you for looking
