David Bowie "Ziggy In Concert" ~ 2LP Very Rare (The very first release of this performance on vinyl and the first release ever of an album of this genre featuring David Bowie)
This is a must have album for David Bowie collectors, particularly those collectors who are keen to obtain albums of this type and genre. This album is the original and different to subsequent issues of this performance on other labels.
I bought this copy second-hand. I personally have not played the album. I stored it away in a click-seal plastic sleeve upon receipt.
Condition of the vinyl: Very Good++/Excellent- (Visual Inspection). The vinyl is glossy and shiny. They are some slight marks and signs of age on each record. The labels are in good condition. One disc features labels numbered "1" and "2". The other disc features blank white labels. One of the blank labels has a faint imprint of some barely visible type which I have attempted to capture with a photograph (See the second last photograph).
Condition of the sleeve: Good+. This double album was manufactured in 1973 in limited numbers. Only the front red and white sleeve insert is present. The rear purple/blue//white rear insert is missing. The red insert had been glued to the front of the gatefold sleeve. 
The plain cardboard gatefold sleeve shows signs of age. There are stains, a sticker mark glue residue marks and other signs of use and poor storage by previous owners. There is an ugly glue mark and dark ring wear on the rear of the sleeve. 
The interior of the plain gatefold sleeve is in better condition. This gatefold sleeve is not a gatefold sleeve in the conventional sense. When opened there are two fold pockets to house each album (See the second photograph). The paper inserts are in good condition.
Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority.

This is the complete performance of the 1972 broadcast in that it includes the disc jockey's comments. Subsequent issues of this broadcast pressed on other labels excluded the commentary by the disc jockey. Thank you Bassman for the background info.
