David Bowie Ziggy Stardust LP UK RCA 1st Press SUPER AUDIO [Ex+/Ex-]

Description

An original 1st press of STARDUST on UK RCA. Matrix 1E/2E. The early copies should exhibit the 1st publishing credits that were altered quickly after 1st release. These labels exhibit 'Titanic Publishing' = 1st press. Well worth seeking these early copies as they were pressed heavy and the sound quality is phenomenal. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover without mention of Mainman on the rear. We also have a genuine 1st issue inner sleeve too. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio come across with excellent clarity. If you wanna dig deep into the mix for this title - have a serious look at this copy. One of the better specimens I've had the pleasure to spin. Bags of energy and rocks out...but finesse too for the quieter moments. Highly addictive. Very little to take issue with. I'm very much doubting you're gonna get the chance of finding a better copy...so if it fits the bill... don't hang around! At worst a few minor crackles very briefly as 'Five Years' comes in - that was it! An absolute stunner. Spin it. Love it...it will take you straight back to '72 in a flash.
Cover (Ex-) Very nice condition and looking better than many specimens from '72. A nice clean and flat front without the usual surface wear often found on this title. At worst a couple of minor creases toward the opening. The rear looks good too - clean, but just with a small sticker removal mark top right [someone's tried to tidy it up]. Edge wear is minimal and the openings are still pretty sharp. The spine is 99% intact - very nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits!! Lightest ageing. Impressive though.
