Description

This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.

 

1964 UK stereo pressing on Decca records of SXL 6119 Russian Delights played by L’Orchestre De La Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet. Label is grooved wide band. The label has “Original Recording by” at 10 O’clock. Sleeve is a non-flip back sleeve. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are ZAL-6319-2E and ZAL-6320-2L.

 

Grading

The condition of sleeve is VG, slight wear on opening and corners, some creases on front cover and stains on rear sleeve. I have tried my best to show all these things on the photos. Visually grade the record as VG+. There are faint marks and some faint scratches on both sides that show under strong light.

 

It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips, jumps. A bit of crackle in places so I would audio grade as VG+.

 

Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
