Description

Diana Dors ?– Swingin' Dors

Label: Castle Music ?– NPL 18044 Format: Vinyl, LP, Reissue, Limited Edition, Numbered, Red
Country: UK Released: 2007, Originally released 1960 Genre: Jazz, Pop Style: Swing Description: Although best known as an actress, having made her film debut before the age of 16, Diana Dors made several attempts at a recording career. Her first recordings were made in 1951 for HMV, followed nine years later by the only album she ever made, Swingin' Dors. By then a major celebrity, Swingin' Dors was, as the title might imply, a swing album featuring an orchestra conducted by Wally Stott. Whilst not a chart success the album has become something of a collector's item in ensuing years.
About this release: 2007 Castle Music remastered edition, Gatefold sleeve, Inner picture sleeve, heavyweight red vinyl, limited edition of 1000 (this copy is 0192), 12 page full colour booklet with previously unseen photos and bio.
