Description

From 4th June with the front page only in colour, this piece of pop history features pictures and/or articles on Frank Sinatra/Spencer Davis/Mama's & Papa's/Gary Walker/Ben E.King/Beatles-Paperback Writer ad(full page)/Tom Jones/Andrew Oldham/Sandie versus Cilla/John Maus/Ken Dodd/Hedgehoppers Anonymous/Koobas/Manfred Mann/Edwin Starr/Geno Washington/Hells Angels of the Sunset Strip/Lord Sutch/Beatles cover most of the back page with letters from fans re PaperbackWriter(see picture). Also has dozens of other pop snippets of the day + the UK Top 50, Top Ten LP's, American Top 20 and record reviews.  The crossword has been completed. It has 20 pages and measures 14" x 12". It's one of thousands I bought new in the 60's. They've been in my loft for over 25 years. It's free of writing and creases and is in excellent condition, although it suffers from some very slight browning with age. Superb condition for a 40 year old pop mag.  I would imagine that most of these would have been thrown out over the years, making this and others I have quite rare. If you have any questions/need more details etc, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be glad to help
