RARE -- Dolly Parton released 9 singles in total on Monument Records between 1965-1968 and a BONUS DOLLY GIFT. Up for BID are Dolly Parton's 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th Single on Monument Records from 1965 to 1968. This was her first major Record Contract on Monument Records before RCA. Several of these are VERY Hard to Find, as several were only printed as DJ Copies and NOT Sold to the Public. This BID includes ALL 5 of the 9 Singles of Dolly's On Monument. Some are very good copies and others have some scuffs and are average. There are 9 total releases singles Dolly had on Monument Records about 50 years ago and with these 5, you only need the 4 others. These 5 Dolly Singles are: (1) I Wasted My Tears/What Do You Think About Loving; (2) Happy, Happy Birthday Baby/Old Enough to Know Better; (6) Dumb Blond/The Giving and the Taking; (7) Something Fishy/I Lived My Life and (8) Why, Why, Why/I Couldn't Wait Forever; . These were Released 50 Years Ago when Dolly was 20 years old -- it is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to to find all 9 -- but some Dolly Collectors have. Bid on these records, which will be worth Big Money in the Coming Years. They are sold as is. Winner also gets the SINGLE by Bill Phillips on the Song Dolly wrote and Sang on, which garner her Multiple Awards early in her career. The A-side featured Dolly singing harmony from Bill Phillips' 1966 album of the same name. When it became a hit, people called in to radio stations asking who the "girl singer" was. This first country success prompted Fred Foster to allow Dolly to record country. The song was recorded over the next two years by many additional of leading country artists, including Loretta Lynn, and won Dolly her first industry award, a BMI Award for writing one of the most-played country songs of the year.
