Description

Don Rendell Ian Carr SHADES OF BLUE OG EMI jazz LP
extra rare title, mono pressing! Artist(s): Don Rendell & Ian Carr

Title: Shades of Blue

Label: EMI / Columbia

Condition: VG+/VG (see comments: plays better) (Cover / LP)

Comments: Really hate to let this go, but I have to take care of taxes this year. Original pressing. Cover is in decent shape - minor creases in the laminate, 1 small circle sticker on the back, and a library stamp that's about 1/2" x 1" (see picture). One side has a library sticker on the label. The vinyl itself has a number of light marks, hence the visual VG grading. However it plays better than it looks, with light noise and the occasional crackle -- listen to the clip. All the marks are quite light, and while unsightly when you look at it under a bright light (as I do when grading), the listening experience doesn't suffer too much. Given this record's rarity (selling upwards of 1000 pounds), this should be a relatively affordable copy for all but the serious audiophile.
Latin Blue
Record has been cleaned on a VPI-17 and will be shipped in an LP mailer.
Not interested in selling for less than starting price or ending early, so please don't ask.

About Us

Thanks for checking out our auctions! We are an on-line and off-line dealer of rare and desirable vinyl and CDs. We grade visually carefully under a halogen light according to Goldmine standards. We grade on a scale of VG/VG+/EX/NM-. All of this means you can expect to receive a record or CD that is as pictured and accurately-graded, quickly shipped in sturdy packaging.

Shipping cost:

US shipping & packaging for CDs: 1 CD = $3.50 1st class, $1 each CD thereafter.
US shipping & packaging for LPs: 1 LP = $8.00 priority, or $4.00 media rate, $1 each LP thereafter.

Outside of the US, we use airmail. Rates vary for each country. Airmail for a single LP ranges from $8 (Canada) to 15 US$. Shipping for multiple CDs or LPs can be combined for a cheaper rate.

#1 rule: DON'T BID UNLESS YOU PLAN TO PAY!

Payment

Payment must be made within 7 days of auctions end. Payment is accepted through paypal (preferred).  No personal checks under any circumstances.  How we ship: We ship LPs in their inner sleeve but outside the cover, then put both the cover and LP in plastic, then both that in an LP mailer. We never use "freebie" priority envelopes. We can double-box on request for an additional $1 charge.

Also! We have 2000+ positive feedbacks and have been selling on ebay for 10 years. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help - most problems can be worked out quickly before negative feedback is left.

Any questions? Please feel free to ask us before you bid!  335 (GS 5.5 (335))
