Courtesy of my grandfather, stored safely away in the attic, unseen and unplayed since at least 1983...


Vinyl - for a 63yr old record its visually in very good condition showing just a few light surface marks.  One scratch is more prevalent than the others but still cant be felt and i cant hear it causing any issue on playback.  There is the faintest insignificant bit of warp which wont trouble any setup.  After a double clean in the Degritter it reveals itself to playback as expected on my old system ie with constant period snap and crackle but this is much in part due to my vintage Shure cart and old Denon phono stage.  A modern line contact into a quieter phono would get much better results im sure.  The labels are very clean and have just a little spindle marking.


Jacket - original laminated thick card jacket in quite amazing condition especially considering its age.  These US jackets do tend to hold up far better than their UK counterparts and this is no different with basically zero wear and tear bar the lightest of storage age related spots.  The rear cover sticker is a little misaligned however.  The inner sleeve is period but i dont know if original or not.
