Description
The Donald Byrd Sextet, presented in concert "Motor City Scene no.1", orig. mono Transition 5, TRLT-5, incl. original 7-page booklet, very rare pressing feat. Yusef Lateef and Barry Harris

Record Condition: VG+ ( - both playing surfaces have some non-feelable scuffs and faint hairlines which are not audible;
- there are couple of very small dot-like marks on the second track side B which cause some repetitive tics (the only reason to grade down from VG++);
- otherwise the records plays very well with only occasional tic and some very mild background noise at times, well below
the level of music, related to pressing quality and not caused by groove wear;
- both labels are very well attached which is quite unusual for Transition pressings;
- all in all still very enjoyable listening experience!
- the record may get some professional cleaning but as there are many techniques I will leave it with
the future owner of this collectible record)
Cover Condition: NM (laminated framed cover in beautiful condition; sharp seams and corners; no writings, no splits, no tapes
- very presentable shape)
Booklet Condition: NM (7-page booklet is in excellent condition - no wear or damage)
The record is coming in the anti-static inner sleeve. This record will be shipped registered and insured.
