Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of Donald Byrd “Mustang” on Blue Note BST 84238. The playing surface is MINT and appears to have never been played. The recording session took place on June 4, 1966 and the test pressing is dated September 12, 1966. At the time, Blue Note had already been acquired by Liberty Records, who had changed pressing plants from Plastylite to All Disc. No art cover, as issued. Personnel include Sonny Red, Hank Mobley, McCoy Tyner, Walter Booker, and Freddie Waits. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
