Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “Off to the Races” on the West 63rd (no “INC”) labels of Blue Note BLP 4007. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just a few light, superficial and inaudible scuffs. The laminated West 63rd cover shows a 3 ½” repair along the bottom seam, at the opening, and several small lamination chips; bumps at the top corners; 1” chip at the bottom left corner of the back slick; ¾” wear at the top of the spine. Personnel include Jackie McLean, Pepper Adams, Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones, and Art Taylor. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
