THE NIC NACS ( RPM 316 ) 1951 - YOU DIDN'T WANT MY LOVE / FOUND ME A SUGAR DADDY - NM all the way. Original single 316 issued in early 1951 for Christmas 1951. Mickey Champion was a familiar thrush on the San Francisco black music scene, often substituting for the under-aged Little Esther on stage.
On Mar-03-06 at 20:37:38 PST, seller added the following information: HEAR IT NOW....and...HEAR IT NOW. Earlier today I received an email from another ebay member suggesting that this record was never issued on a 45 rpm record, only on 78 rpm and that it was put out on 45 in the late 1960's as a boot. ( He said this is stated in Jeff Kreiter's "Vocal Group Collectors Record Guide" as well as Lou Silvani's "Collecting Rare Records" ( 2 books which I do not have access to or own. I'm now adding a full photo and a clip of the audio and leaving it up to you ). Here is his message....... Hello, Just to note that this record was never original as a 45.
