In this auction is an UNCOMMON DOOBIE BROTHERS PROMOTIONAL RECORD. As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were ONLY released by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for on-air play or to vending companies for jukebox play. They were produced in very small/limited quantities and were NOT made available for sale to the general public; therefore, many promotional records are particularly hard-to-find these days and have become highly sought after by vinyl collectors and fans of certain recording it artists/bands.

This is a PROMOTIONAL 7-Inch Extended Play Compact 33 RECORD from the Doobie Brothers.

This is WARNER BROS (WB) RECORDS S 2750 (LLP 247).

It was released in 1974.

This 7-inch PROMOTIONAL RECORD was released by Warner Bros Records for jukebox play only to promote the Doobie Brothers’ LP “What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits”. So, it was never made available to the general public for purchase.

This Compact 33, also referred to as an LLP (Little Long Play) has 5 songs on it, 3 on one side and 2 on the other side.

Side 1 cuts are “Eyes Of Silver”, “Pursuit On 53rd Street” and “Spirit”, and the Side 2 cuts are “Road Angel” and “Tell Me What You Want”.

This record was issued in a paper picture sleeve/envelop with a flap to seal it.

The PAPER SLEEVE/ENVELOPE is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.

The VINYL is also in NEAR MINT CONDITION.
