Description
Doors, The Doors (1st LP) Orig UK Red Elektra LP, EX/EX, A-1 Matrix 2nd Press!
Description
Original UK Elektra big 'E' red label stereo 2nd press LP, this pressing was issued in the summer of 1969 and has identical matrices to the original 1967 pressing as the same pressing discs were used for this issue! The fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light laminate storage wear and some small areas of laminate lift along the spine of the cover. The spine is intact & fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings. Overall the record still retains all its original sheen and looks great! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, just some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great listen!! The matrix nos. are; EKS-74007-A-1A mother stamper (COL) 5, EKS-74007-B-(A) mother stamper 5. This is one of the very earliest 1969 pressings of the original 1967 UK stereo 2nd issue of this album!!
