Description
Original UK Elektra big 'E' orange label stereo press LP, with the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices! The Ernest J. Day Group matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light ring wear/staining on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with a few of faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple small needle marks visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings and a small sticker scar on side B. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter passages, still a really great listen!! The matrix nos. are; EKS-74024, A-1 stamper B-6, B-1 stamper C-2. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!!
