Easily one of the Absolute Rarest of all Duke Ellington recordings... The Washingtonians perform "Rainy Nights" on (the equally rare Mitchell label), Mitchell 11437 in E- (Excellent) Condition!! and, as if anyone cares... the Majestic Dance Orchestra performs "Then You Know that You're in Love" (also in E- condition) -- anyway... Ellington's recording is terrific (and you know exactly how I mean that!) and pretty Hot for a big band in 1924 -- with Bubber Miley, Charlie Irvis, Otto Hardwick and Sonny Greer! 78 rpm.
