This is an ORIGINAL 1958 U.S. GREEN LIBERTY LABEL 4-TRACK 45 RPM EP TITLED 'Singin' To My Baby - Part Three' from rockabilly legend Eddie Cochran. It is Liberty Records catalog number LEP-3-3061, and is the rarest of the three 45 RPM EPs issued from Eddie's 'Singin' To My Baby' LP, the only Cochran album issued during his lifetime. The opening bid price in this auction is based on research done on the results of the few previous eBay auctions of this item. Tracks: One Kiss, Cradle Baby, I'm Alone Because I Love You, Lovin' Time. Condition of record is a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and a very few very small and light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record has a couple of extremely slight and tiny flat bumps in the vinyl which are a very slight pressing defect and which also have absolutely no effect on play, the record is pressed right into these areas. Record plays very nicely with an extremely slight amount of scattered light background surface noise. Condition of cover is a mid to high VG+ with the following minor flaws which are visible in the accompanying images: a 1/2" square area in the middle of the right edge of the front cover with dried adhesive residue left by some previously removed clear tape; another 1/2" square area with brown dried adhesive residue at the corresponding area of the left edge of the back cover (Cover was probably taped shut by the retailer who originally sold this EP to prevent damage or theft); a little writing in pencil on the back cover; a moderate amount of ring and contact wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has NO SPLITS, TEARS, BENDS, OR STICKERS. All of the small white spots seen on and around the labels in the accompanying images are on the clear poly sleeve used to protect the record while the images were being taken, not on the labels or the record. This is a rare and highly collectable original vintage item which would be a prized 'holy grail' type addition to any rockabilly record collection.
