EDDIE COCHRAN the Eddie Cochran box set 50th Anniversary LIBERTY 6LPs Box set + Booklet ECB 1!
Original UK 6LP box set, released in 1988, on the LIBERTY Record label. The box set comprises of a 12-inch hinged picture box with the 50th anniversary sticker on the front and containing 6 record albums all with full colour sleeves including the original inner paper inner sleeves and a 32 page booklet with full discography and many rare photographs. Catalogue number: ECB 1.
Box: VERY GOOD+ CONDITION
Overall the box set has a hinged lid which opens out to the left. Overall the box is in VERY GOOD+ condition, solid and complete but with some light wear in places, there is a light touch of edge wear on the middle front bottom edge and light touches of wear on the two top corners, a small stain on the top edge, some light superficial box print lifting on the back and the box is a lightly soiled in places owing to storage and handling. Box displays no rips/tears, no edge, corner or seem split and no deep lined creases
Booklet: EXCELLENT CONDITION
The booklet is in EXCELLENT condition, clean and complete, some light handling wear is evident, however there are no rips/tears, writing or any creases.
LP sleeves: NEAR MINT CONDITION
All the individual record sleeve are in NEAR MINT condition, clean with no major wear or damage. They display no rips/tears, no edge/corner wear, no seem splits and no sleeve creases. All the inner sleeves are in NEAR MINT condition again clean with no wear or any damage.
Records: NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT* CONDITION
All the record labels are in MINT/NEAR MINT condition, clean with no wear or damage and only a few light faint spindle hole marks showing on some of the labels, but not on all. All the records playing surfaces and the matrix areas are in NEAR MINT/MINT condition (with the exception of record 4 ‘Somethin’ else*), clean and with a glossy sheen throughout, one or two of the records have a few tiny barely visible ultra-light fine line surface scuffs, which only appear/show up when viewed closely and angled under a strong bright light, however these are minimal, minor and almost negligible. Most of the records lean towards MINT condition, but have graded NEAR MINT to accommodate. *Record 4 does have a few slightly more ultra-light surface scuffs, again these are fine line types, which only appear/show up when viewed closely and angled under a strong bright light and hence have graded EXCELLENT condition to suit.
