Description

 Artist: ELIAS WARDINY

Track(s): Souriya Al Watan I and II

Format: 78 rpm 10”

Label: Maloof

Identifying catalogue/matrix number(s): 6003

Elias Wardiny (a.k.a. Wardini) was an early Syrian singer who recorded many sides in NYC in the early-mid 1920s for labels like Maloof and Macksoud. On this record he is accompanied by the great Syrian violinist Naim Karakand!  I will be listing several additional records by Elias Wardiny/Wardini on the Maloof label in the coming weeks.

Condition: I am afraid I am not able to play 78 rpm records. Please see photos for condition. Recorded is complete (no cracks, missing pieces, etc.), with wear as to be expected for a record of this age. Please inspect the included photos carefully. **ITEM SOLD “AS-IS”**

Terms (Please read carefully): Payment via Paypal is due within THREE (3) DAYS – no exceptions. Buyer pays shipping. **NON-USA BIDDERS: I will ONLY ship outside of the USA using E-bay’s Global Shipping Program, since this is the only way that the parcel is traceable outside of the USA, which protects seller and bidder from loss. This program includes import fees and taxes which are not set by me, are not negotiable, and can be quite high. Please keep this in mind when you bid.**

US bidders: I am happy to combine items in order to save you money on shipping. Just let me know ahead of time if you are bidding on more than one item and I will send you a new invoice reflecting the correct shipping for all your wins (don’t pay the one sent by E-bay, which will charge the full shipping price for each individual item). Non-USA bidders: My apologies, but according to my recent conversations with E-bay customer service, the Global Shipping Program does not allow for combined shipping on international orders.

Your item(s) will be sent within ten (10) days of receiving cleared payment via Paypal.
