THE VINYL & AUDIOPHILE PRESSING DETAILS
Both discs feature the coveted hand-etched "SR/2" in the dead wax on ALL FOUR SIDES, proving this is the genuine 1977 original lacquer cut by legendary mastering engineer Stan Ricker at the JVC Cutting Center.
Ricker used half-speed mastering—cutting the lacquer at 15 RPM to provide staggering audio clarity, expansive low-end separation, and sparkling transient response that modern digital reissues completely fail to replicate.

THE PRESERVED INSERTS (TOP 1% SURVIVAL STATE)
The vast majority of copies found today are stripped of their internal inserts. This copy includes everything in phenomenal condition:
1. The Cardboard Space Station Cutout (NEAR MINT / UNPUNCHED): 100% unpunched, unassembled, and perfectly flat. The perforated lines are flawless and unbroken. The cardboard remains completely rigid with crisp corners and zero aging discolourations.
2. The Original ELO Souvenir Merchandise Flyer (EXCELLENT): Crisp, unwritten, with its original horizontal factory center fold. Features the classic T-Shirt order form with pristine white borders and rich, vibrant colours.
3. The Original Heavy Cardstock Lyric Inner Sleeves (EXCELLENT): Both sleeves display bold, un-faded deep blue fields and incredibly crisp text. Seams are solid and completely free of splits.

The structural integrity of this gatefold is superb. The spine is thick, entirely square, completely intact, and perfectly legible.
