Eloise Greenfield & Friends with Byron Morris - Honey, I Love LP (Caedmon TC 1736) 1982/84

Poet Eloise Greenfield's collaboration with Unity leader, Byron Morris, who roped in a bunch of kids to elevate the proceedings. Great, funky left-field jazz record. Very scarce & in demand album, with good reason.

Record/Sleeve : VG/VG+ : Numerous surface scuffs, majority pretty light, although one that runs across most of track 8/side 1 causes a click each rotation. Lp intermittently plays with some surface noise. I played the whole thing through however, and there were no skips. Some shelf wear to sleeve/spine, a piece of random scotch tape about an inch and a half long to front cover, a piece of scotch tape about an inch long on bottom spine (although the spine does not appear to be split). I'm trying to grade this pretty conservatively, so I hope I didn't make it sound worse than it is, not a bad copy ultimately by any stretch.





Grading:


Mint: New or sealed (if not sealed then I opened it myself...)

NM: Played just a few times, like new.

Ex or Excellent: A record that has been played a handful of times and has been very well taken care of. No audible scratches to speak of, maybe a pop or two.

VG+ or VG++: A very decent used record, a few pops and/or some very light scratches but very acceptable.

VG: A record that has scratches, pops and is starting to show some serious wear.

Good etc.: Many scratches, a useable but rough record.
