On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Elton John called "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK YELLOW VINYL 1st Pressing on the 1st Press DJM label!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE DJM LABEL, AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1973 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (IN YELLOW VINYL!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS DOUBLE LP!!!!  YELLOW VINYL 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS DOUBLE LP REALLY WERE STRICTLY LIMITED, AND ARE NOW VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  ORIGINALLY ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE MADE - SOLD AT A PREMIUM PRICE, AND QUICKLY DELETED!!!!  HOWEVER, PEOPLE GET VERY CONFUSED, AS MUCH LATER ON (IN THE EARLY 1980s) THIS DOUBLE LP WAS AGAIN 'RE-ISSUED' IN YELLOW VINYL IN IDENTICAL FORMAT, WAS NOT LIMITED AND WAS FREELY AVAILABLE!!!!  THE COVER IS VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL ON THE UNLIMITED RE-ISSUES, AND SO AT FIRST GLANCE ARE THE RECORDS.  HOWEVER, THERE ARE A VERY FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW - THAT MAKE THIS DOUBLE LP TRULY RARE, AND CLEARLY SHOW IT TO BE THE 'EARLIEST' YELLOW VINYL 1ST PRESSING (STRICTLY LIMITED!) AND DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THE COUNTLESS (AND FAR MORE COMMON!) RE-ISSUES!!!!

1) THE COVER HAS A "LIMITED EDITION 2 LP SET ON YELLOW VINYL" STICKER ON THE COVER FRONT - WHEREAS LATER RE-ISSUES DO NOT!!!!  PLEASE NOTE IT IS EXACTLY AS PRINTED AND IN MINT CONDITION - IT IS NOT FADED OR RUBBED!!!!

2) SECONDLY THE 'YELLOW VINYL' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES END IN "A3/B3/C3/D3" - WHEREAS ALL MUCH LATER RE-ISSUES END IN 4 OR 5!!!!

3) THIRDLY THE STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION 'YELLOW VINYL' 1ST PRESSING HAVE "YELLOW - LIMITED - EDITION" ETCHED IN EACH OF THE RUN OFF GROOVES!!!!  WHEREAS OF COURSE, THE LATER RE-ISSUES DONT HAVE THIS, AS THEY WERE UNLIMITED!!!!

FINDING A 'TRUE' YELLOW VINYL 'LIMITED EDITION' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS DOUBLE LP IS NOW INCREDIBLY HARD!!!!  AND FINDING ONE IN THIS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDITION IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION - AND EASILY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  I HAVE TAKEN A VERY CLEAR PICTURE OF ALL EDGES - AND YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT EVERY SINGLE EDGE & SPINE IS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT AND UNWORN!!!!  AND YET THIS ISNT REALLY SURPRISING AS THIS DOUBLE LP HAS BEEN INSIDE A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE SLEEVE SINCE THE DAY IT WAS PURCHASED, AND HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE TO TAPE IT!!!!  IT WAS THEN FILED AWAY AND LEFT COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED FOR OVER 40 YEARS, UNTIL I ACCQUIRED IT LAST WEEK!!!!  THIS REALLY IS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXAMPLE - AND EASILY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK 'YELLOW VINYL' 1ST PRESSING (STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION ONLY!) ON THE 1ST PRESS DJM LABELS, 1ST PRESS 3/3/3/3 MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS 'MATCHING' INNER SLEEVES, 1ST PRESS 'YELLOW - LIMITED - EDITION' RUN OFF ETCHINGS, AND 1ST PRESS TRIPLE GATEFOLD 'STICKERED' COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL DJM UK 1st Pressing from 1973 and is in AMAZING condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is DJE 29001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press DJM label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 70s double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK AMAZING!!!!  It is also great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeves which are in SUPERB condition - and are completely UNSPLIT with NO repairs!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Triple Gatefold Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear (PERFECT unworn straight edges!), NO spinal wear (AWESOME unworn straight spines, with PERFECT side words!), barely ANY corner wear, NO splits, NO sticker marks NO sticker tears, barely ANY creases AT ALL (virtually NONE - and the cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Limited Edition' Sticker is in MINT condition!!!!  The cover must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
