Here is an AMAZINGLY RARE, RARE find. It's RCA VICTOR'S 1956 release titled ELVIS PRESLEY # SPD - 23. This was a promotional gift given when the top of the line VICTROLA was purchased. Purchasers of lesser models received the (2) record set # SPD - 22. You can IMAGINE how few of these exist !! This was a (3) 45 EP record set & unfortunately I only have (2) of the (3), along with the folding PICTURE SLEEVE which held all ( 3 ) !! I have searched for years & have been unable to find the missing 45.( # 599-9123 ) BUT what is TRULY AMAZING is these (2) records CONDITION !!! They are in PRISTINE shape & I feel confident giving them a visual grading of NM !!! ( Most of what you see in the photos is smudging that's actually on my scanner's glass.) I have NEVER seen a used 45 in such fantastic condition. The PICTURE SLEEVE I would give a rating of VG+ due to slight discoloring on the back & small damage on the bottom of its spline.( see photo ) The 2004 OFFICIAL PRICE GUIDE to RECORDS (17 editon, author Jerry Osborne) value this set at $4,000.00 -5,000.00 ! While searching for the missing one I have contacted many dealers & collectors & have learned that this is a VERY RARE TREASURE & considered by many to be the HOLY GRAIL of ELVIS 45s !! It's condition just ADDS to it's VALUE. I STRONGLY encourage you to research this set to fully APPRECIATE it's rarity.This will make some ELVIS or music fan's collection the envy of all.I have never had (-) feedback from anyone I have sold to.
