I NEED YOUR LOVE TONIGHT - SINGLE-SIDED GREEN LABEL DEMO (RCA 1113)
Most Elvis collectors are well aware of how rare and collectable these items are - something which is reflected in their resale value. Although no one knows for sure how many copies were made it is safe to say very few; and, at the time of their manufacture, the general public had no knowledge of their existence - which makes them genuinely rare. Very importantly, they were never intended to be sold to the general public.
This single-sided, solid centred demo, manufactured by Decca Record Company on behalf of RCA in the UK, was one side of a double A-sided record (coupled with '(Now and then there's) A Fool Such As I' back in 1959. In this case though, Decca produced both a double-sided demo as well as two separate single-sided ones. Both are equally collectable.
This particular copy is in good to very good condition overall. The label is generally very clean though on close examination it has that slightly 'grubby' look some of the green label demos have at times. and the time code appears (which was added at Decca, of course), along with the catalogue number (RCA 1113) being rubber-stamped on the label.
