Description
Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1957 true first pressing of Elvis’ Christmas Album, on RCA LOC-1035. 1S/1S stamps and gold lettering on the spine. The disc is truly beautiful, with very little wear at all, and plays just about flawlessly and quite beautifully. There are some very light superficial scuffs but really not much at all, and they don’t affect the play. The cover is likewise gorgeous, with a perfectly intact spine, complete photo book, and untorn binding, and no seam splits. There is some very light corner wear at the lower right, but the other three corners are crisp and clean. A name and date are written in red on the front over the white package to the right of Elvis’ photo, and there is a very light surface crease along the front. See photo. It is very light and barely noticeable. There is a bit of light discoloration on the opening page inside the gatefold, just a couple of tape stains and light marks, all small and insignificant. The rest of the booklet is close to pristine. The side one label has a bit of tape on it, and a little tear where tape was pulled off. Not terrible. Side two is perfect. The original RCA inner sleeve is also included. There is a faint mildew smell, I have to admit, but I see no signs of it anywhere. Not super strong. Really this is an incredibly clean and beautiful copy. I have never seen better. Even the best copies for sale are usually a bit more worn than this gorgeous copy. Hard to beat.
