The time has come for me to thin down my vast collection of Elvis Presley albums and singles as I need to minimize my holdings. I have decided to begin with the AFL1 prefix LP’s, first released in 1977, shortly after Elvis’ untimely demise. Realizing that the Black Label, “Dog Near Top” LSP reissues (1976-77) were pressed in mass abundancy and are mere “player” copies, these AFL1’s are an entirely different story because they were pressed in very short runs and many of them are downright RARE!
ELVIS PRESLEY – CLAMBAKE (AFL1-2565) SUPER, SUPER RARE and HIGHLY ELUSIVE AFL1 COPY (RE-4) and in ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
RECORD: NM- with only a small number of very light marks on the vinyl which should not have any effect on the audible performance. There is only scant evidence of this record ever having been played and the surfaces are very glossy! The AFL1 prefix on this title is extremely rare and this very copy is the only one that I have ever seen. These were pressed for a very short time!
COVER: NM- with the only flaw(s) being a miniscule upper edge split at the open end along with some wear at the lower right corner tip. The shrink wrap is entirely present, though there are tears at the upper and lower edge areas. The upper edge tear in the shrink runs completely across as it moves onto the upper portion on the back side of the cover. A beautiful, fully original cover with no tape or saw cuts! Note the “RE-4” on the front and back. The original “ELVIS” (54F) inner sleeve is included. This album will be shipped Insured Mail at my cost, to U.S. addresses, in a BagsUnlimited “Mighty Mailer” with cardboard insert to ensure safe delivery.
GOOD LUCK!
First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase. All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
2024 marks 47 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
