Description
An original unplayed copy of the ultra rare 1974 Elvis Presley mono/stereo D J promo 45 "Let Me Be There" (RCA JH-10951). This copy comes from the collection of a former employee of Al Gallico Music Corp. who - along with three other employees - was given a 50 count box of the single that Al himself had pressed up for distribution to plug Elvis’ cover of the then-recent Olivia Newton-John hit. When publishing negotiations on the cover went south, Al took the 200 singles he had pressed up and divided them amongst the four employees. Here - up for public auction for the first time in recent memory - is one of those 200.
This 45 is housed in its original stock RCA sleeve and - being unplayed - is near mint (record and labels both) in spite of a minor bowl warp.
