ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (CAS-2428) SUPER RARE “GREEN BACK” COVER VARIETY from 1976!

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with full original gloss, though there are a small number of very light scuffs and minor evidence of having been played. This Pickwick/Camden release should play great! The Pickwick labels are beautiful, NM. This particular record was available from late 1975 through 1986 and was pressed into the millions of copies; definitely not rare by any means and it never will be considered as “rare”.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with the very rare and highly coveted “Green Back”! Literally millions of copies of this album were produced with the standard black & white back slick, but these special “Green Back” copies were produced especially for Elvis’ appearances in November – December of 1976 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Therefore, far fewer of these were produced making them quite rare today. This copy is graced by full original shrink wrap, which has protected the cover from any possible ring wear. However, a tiny upper edge split has begun (please see all photos!) along with a similar split at the lower right corner. These are very minor and at this point, could be considered as simple corner wear. A beautiful and highly desirable cover variety! The original plain white inner sleeve is included.
