ELVIS PRESLEY -HMV "Rock 'n' Roll No 2" (CLP 1105) - FIRST PRESSING FROM 1957!
RECORD: EX + both sides with clean surfaces! There are some light wispy sleeve withdrawal marks when viewed under a bright light . Upon inspection under a bright light, these marks were found to be non-intrusive and the record plays very well indeed.I can only find one visible non wispy mark about 12mm very very fine line non intrusive. I am being very critical. She plays without jumps, skips and loud pops. There is some typical static in the run in and run offs. This is a First Pressing cover and vinyl (Yes HMV issued a second pressing cover for both HMV albums which I believe are rarer than the first pressings. HMV logo to the bottom left on second pressings= look our for my HMV 1 2ND press)
LABELS: Rich in colour with minor spindle marks and X T tax code.
COVER: VG+. The flimsy sleeve has survived well.
The cover as you will see in certainly all there. Elvis' Daily Sketch photo with yellow background rich in colour. No rips or repairs. Oval flip backs in place and complete and tight
Spine has some text missing but not ripped. Typical decompression marks from vinyl being stored in the sleeve over the years. Some slight shelf wear to corners as shown and tiny lamination peel in places. I include a picture from when I purchased it against the red background.
The white areas remain white with just very minimal soiling
No tape, writing or staple holes whatsoever! A truly clean and original cover. This LP is one that is worthy of placement in a high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
INNER SLEEVE: The original HMV inner sleeve see image, but the record will be placed in a new, plain white sleeve. VG+

Please note there is a very small nick in Elvis' shirt as shown in images. I chose not to repair however a spare damaged cover of which there are a few out there could remedy this by a steady and patient hand.
