RARE Original German RCA Victor 47-6604 – 1956 First Press 45rpm
Offered here is the very first German pressing, manufactured by TELDEC (Telefunken-Decca) for RCA Victor and released in 1956 during Elvis' breakthrough year.
Complete with its original silver tri-center, rarely seen today as most surviving copies no longer retain it.

A similar original 1956 German RCA Victor first pressing sold on eBay for €450 (approximately $485 USD) on February 15, 2024, according to the online sales archive Popsike, demonstrating the exceptional collector demand for this iconic early Elvis release.

Numerous hairlines, scuffs and general signs of use accumulated over the past 70 years. Plays well throughout with strong, enjoyable sound, with only occasional light surface sound, exactly what one would expect from a 1956 original.

Both labels remain clean and attractive overall.
The "Hound Dog" label has a few scuff marks and signs of handling, clearly visible in the photographs, while the "Don't Be Cruel" label is in excellent condition!
