TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for great condition, highly collectible records from the 1950's-60's---where I list everything at $9.99 or less, and never use a "reserve price". I will be on Ebay again for a couple of weeks, so please bookmark my site and check it out when you can--thank you. This very rare and highly collectible, four song Elvis EP with it's original hardcover jacket is self-entitled "Elvis Presley" from 1956---with Elvis printed in like pink and Presley in green on the jacket. This was his very 1st EP release for RCA. I have also listed other early RnR EPs and LPs this week as well, so feel free to check them one out after you read about this one. This EP is on the original, black with silver print, RCA Label (WITH the horizontal silver line), and contains four (4) great early songs of his---including the hit song, "Blue Suede Shoes". In my opinion, both the vinyl and the hard cover jacket are in good shape, but please view the pics below, read about the record and jacket's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, black with silver print, RCA Label---EPA-747---and is in good overall condition. I don't see any spindle lines around the center circle which indicates to me that there was very little play, but there is a small amount of light scuffing around the outside edges of the label. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is quite shiny and clean and, again, appears very nice overall. There are, however, some light surface/paper lines on each side, but they have no effect on the play of the EP.  JACKET INFO: This hardcover jacket, with a great shot of a very young looking Elvis, is in excellent overall shape. The very bottom left corner does have a small, 1-2" crese line (see the pics below). Otherwise, there is nothing seriously with this very rare jacket at all. In my opinion, the whole package is quite nice and in good overall shape (espiecally for what it is), but please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself.  INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original '50's Elvis EPs out there anymore (and I have listed others this week as well), so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to list---more 45's/PS's/EP's and LP's by Elvis, The Beatles, The Monkees and many other artists from the '50's-'60's--even some rare C&W. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and almost all of them are in excellent shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
