Description
Extremely rare 10 inch issued by Pathe France in early fifties. Original green label with silver lettering.
33 DT 1010.
Emile Passani was born in 1905 and a pupil of Ravel. He plays Valses Nobles et Sentimentales and Sonatine by Ravel.
Vinyl is VG+. It plays with background noise all the time which is more prominent in the Sonatine. Other old fifties Pathe discs often have this.
The vinyl surface shows some scuffs and on both sides a small mark can be felt which gives tics. No loud tics.
The labels have spindle marks.
Despite these shortcomings the disc is still a pleasure to listen to.
Probably impossible to find a NM copy.
I graded this disc with a stereo cartridge. I do not have a mono one. Playing with a mono would give the best results.
Jacket EX-. Some mild wear due to aging; small tear near opening on back ; no writing.
The shipping costs mentioned above do not reflect the actual shipping costs. I ship records from The Netherlands, not from US. The real shipping costs are mentioned here under. If you have questions, please ask.
