Description
ULTRA RARE:Emile PASSANI(piano) playing RAVEL SONATINE and VALSES NOBLES et SENTIMENTALES.(PATHE,Mono,French pressing-early 50's).
Condition:
Sleeve:recto:VG-:in good shape,but has been wet(colours damaged);verso:good,with the sticker of the record dealer.
Record :VG+: plays with light background noise(like a 78/pm) especially on the beginning of each face,but no tocs,neither scratches-only 1 or 2 very short and light soft tics here and there on each face , but nothing which affect the listening,which is excellent all the way,and a very clear sound of the piano(very rare for a record of this age)..
Emile Passani,born in 1905, was a French composer,pianist and choir master.He was a pupil of Maurice Ravel,and one of his greatest performers. The very rares(2 or 3?) records he made at the piano are considered as exemplary renderings of French piano style of the twentieth century.
