Description

SP 8021
ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK OF THE FILM AD OGNI COSTO
Music by ENNIO MORRICONE Directed by BRUNO NICOLAI

Original 1967 RCA Italiana MONO pressing - PROMO, out of commerce - originally released on limited edition of 100 copies only.
Deep groove labels and heavy cardboard sleeve like all the original pressings from RCA SP series (SP stands for PROMO ONLY). According to the legend, these were only pressed for promotional purpose destinated to music journalists, TV planners, and musical assistants to be synchronized on television.
Original soundtrack for the Action/Crime movie "AD OGNI COSTO" aka "GRAND SLAM" with maestro Morricone backed by Franco Micalizzi as musical assistant and I CANTORI MODERNI DI ALESSANDRONI chorus. Lively and Exotic inspired OST by the legendary maestro with Brazilian influenced music provided through the performance of "La Brasiliana" band. Loads of Samba and Exotica vibes alternated by maestro orchestral arrangements with Romantic Beat flavour like the two themes "VAI VIA MALICONIA" and "DIRGLI SOLO NO". "AD OGNI COSTO" is the top Cop/Thriller theme with its obessive Giallo refrain and suspenseful atmosphere.
Rare original RCA SP 1st pressing, hard to get in such beatiful shape. Housed in original Rca Victor inner bag.
