Description
ERIC BURDON AND WAR-THE BLACK MAN'S BURDON 1970 MGM RECORDS GATEFOLD COVER 2 LP'S W/ WAR BOND SE 4710-2 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The final album that matched the deep voice of Eric Burdon and supreme funk of the band War. Both of the records give us the listener a study in all things soul, all and then some funk and a new way to meld a classic track into your own. Some of the notable cuts include Paint It Black, Nights In White Satin, They Can't Take Away Our Music & Bare Back Ride. All fans of the famed pairing or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
Both of the records are in an easy VG+ condition with all I may suggest is that record 1 get a "real" cleaning as I do not have those solutions here. This is just a suggestion as both records play well throughout as is. The infamous gatefold cover has the nude scene inner jacket and there is minor wear along the edges and mild rubs on the corners. The War Bond is unsullied. One of the original inner sleeves has a half side tear yet still holds the record. A fantastic buy!!
$3 freight. US sales only!!
