CLEANED with Pro-Ject VC-S MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner and then ULTRASONICALLY cleaned.

Released in October 1969, this Lp was the follow up to the hugely successful Zeppelin I... & what an album...Being the groups very first album to reach No. 1 in both the UK and the USA.

The album production was entirely credited to Jimmy Page.

(as a little note: In November of 1999 the album was certified 12X platinum!!)

Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!

Solid sound reproduction..Deep bass and clear highs.

There are only a couple of LIGHT marks to the vinyl, which I found made one tiny skip at the start of track 1, siide 1...Weird as I still cannot find any offending mark which made my needle jump here-I think a slightly heavier stylus than mine will have no trouble with this phantom skip.

On playback I noticed deep bass with clean highs...the album really shone out with clarity.

Barely any background crackle to mention at all!

*TURN HER UP-I DID*

WOW-Superb drums kicking in at the start-magical! And Ooooh, the escalation of the bass line on Ramble On is a pure joy to listen to.

THIS ONLY OCCURRED ON THIS RED/PLUM LABEL VARIATION as other Red/Plum label variations credited 'Jones' for all 3 tracks.
