Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a soft poly inner sleeve..
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a First Pressing of an Asylum Records Promotional copy of the original 1976 release.
- This copy does not appear to have ever been played.
- This is an extremely rare copy. Only a thousand or so Promotional copies were originally pressed compared to the more than 43 million copies that have sold to date.
- The matrix runouts are etched with: "HAPPY NEW YEAR GLYNN - - -" and "- - - WITH LOVE FROM BILL".
- The gold foil Promo stamp is top right back cover. "Radio Station Use Only" is printed on the label.
- The cover has tight seams and shows slight corner wear.
- Includes the original white generic inner sleeve. I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Asylum Records in 1976. It has beeen in storage for 48 years.
