Description
Eartha Kitt Revisited
Original 1960 Kapp LP with Sexy Cover
Absolutely Silent Mint Vinyl
Perfect Recording
Artist: Eartha Kitt
Title: Eartha Kitt Revisited
Label / Cat #: Kapp / KL 1192
Country: USA
Year: 1960
This original 1960 Kapp recording has perhaps the most silent background I have experienced on Vinyl. It sounds as clean a digitally recorded DC. It is almost uncanny.
This Mono LP sounds every bit as detailed and dynamic as a modern stereo recording when played through my Linn LP12 with Clearaudio Virtuoso Wood cartridge, and Hughes AK-100. The sound is crystal clear with lots of head room, and even a great soundstage.
This is perhaps the best recording and performance of Eartha Kitt on record.
Vinyl – Mint
Sound – Mint !!!!!
Labels –Mint
Cover – Near Mint –
Many of the records in this auction have been culled as duplicates from my personal collection of over 4000 LPs. Others are more recent acquisitions for eBay, that I treat with the same respect as my own.
My Process for handling records
This record has been cleaned using The Disc Doctor’s Miracle Record Cleaner, which is used by the Library of Congress and recommended by Mobile Fidelity, TAS, Stereophile, and Better Records.
1. Visual Inspection – discard any major flawed records
2. Remove static with ZeroStat
3. Brief treatment with Discwasher to remove surface dust
4. Complete wash and rinse Disc Doctor and RO water
5. Remove rinse with Nitty Gritty vacuum
6. Air dry in dust-free space
7. Place in new antistatic sleeve.
8. Stack LP, cover, and original liner in poly outer sleeve
I take every care with records I sell as I do with those I keep for my own use and enjoyment.
