Description

Collectors, here is Edison Diamond Disc record #52647.  Banjo virtuoso Harry Reser performs two songs, with piano: "Jade" and "Trainin' the Fingers".  Expert playing, two fun listens.   As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder record. The record plays very well with little surface noise and a real "presence" to the sound.  There is no edge chipping, and the labels are attached firmly to the record.
As you might know, the last diamond disc issued was #52651.  So, this record was in the last batch of diamond discs released, in spring 1929.  Made in a small quantity, how many are still around 90+ years later, incredibly rare record.  To me this is a $400 disc, but I will offer it at a much lower price.  If no one is interested, I am happy to keep it in my personal collection.
Shipping to USA addresses only.  $4.95 media mail postage and handling, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box.  Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the record, your positive feedback much appreciated!!  See my other listings for other early 78s, and thanks for looking!!
