This week is a SPECIAL week here @ EPVINYL4U, 30 Years ago this month the world was shocked by the loss of ELVIS PRESLEY, I will NEVER forget when I heard the News, I was 11 years old and on my way home from shopping with my sisters, we had the Radio set to AM 89 WLS in Chicago when a very Sad LARRY LUJACK announced that it had been reprted that Elvis Presley has just died from an Apparent Heart Attack at his home in MEMPHIS, he was only 42 years old, he followed the report with the song "Can't Help Falling In Love", I was devistated........ This week I would like to Celebrate, NOT the death of Elvis, But more the wonderful LIFE of ELVIS PRESLEY, I want to hear your stories, your memories, Your favorite ELVIS moments and with you permission I will POST them in my E-Bay Adds for other Fan's to read and share. Along with the Great CD Sets and Original ELVIS Lps and Bonus Photos, I am also offering some VERY hard to find Elvis 78 RPM Singles. Around 1956 RCA started the faze-out of the 78 RPM records to make way for the VERY popular 45 RPM records that were in much higher demand by the public, the 78s were heavy, fragile and a bit more bulky than the more popular 45 RPM Single. This week I am offering 6 of these VERY rare 78s from as far back as January of 1956 to the Rare release of "Don't" in 1958, All are hard to find, ALL are in just Beautiful condition and are HIGHLY valuable and collectable.
Next up, on the RCA record label # 20-6420 from January of 1956 and Elvis's 1st Release for RCA Records AND his first #1 Hit Heartbreak Hotel/I Was The One
The condition of the wax is VERY nice, still all the shine and luster of new, just a few very light surface marks/scuffs, No chips, No cracks, Plays through VERY nicely, Labels are clean with NO writing, stickers or tears, Original RCA paper sleeve is included, Good Luck on this one!
